Introduction to Freestyle Crochet Art with Barbara Touati-Evans and Gemma MacLennan (Let’s Crochet UK)
Sunday 19 February – 13:00 – 15.30, £40 (includes day entry to the unravel festival, plus tea or coffee)
Come and explore the possibilities of freestyle crochet and experiment with a variety of stitches and techniques to create a unique piece of yarn art.
Using the theme of barley and hops (which are both very close to heart of Farnham Maltings!) you will be guided in choosing colours, textures and shapes to take your crochet beyond following a pattern.
Some previous crochet experience is helpful as well as a willingness to experiment.
Materials/ What to bring
The tutors will bring lots of hooks and yarn but if you have hooks and yarn in shades of green, yellow, gold and beige, feel free to bring it.
